The purpose of this session is to inform all federal student loan borrowers of their loan repayment rights and responsibilities. This is required anytime that your enrollment is less than half-time, you graduate or withdraw from the University.

Graduate and Undergraduate Students

To complete your Exit Counseling Session:

  • Visit www.studentloans.gov
  • Click on the "Exit Counseling" link under "Tools and Resources"
  • On the NSLDS window that opens, click on the "Exit Counseling" button
  • Follow the prompts to complete your exit counseling session

Loan Repayment
Repayment begins six months after a student graduates, drops below part time or stops attending school.
